VOLCANOES GALORE

Pete Alport Photography

VOLCANOESGALORE18X12P

One of my favorite images of the Central and Northern Oregon Cascades.

This is sunrise, late November of 2020, and one of the best early season starts I can remember. We had almost 100" of snowfall before December 1st! I shot snowboarding and skiing over 40 days before the first day of Winter.

I can see so many stories in this photo, from Mt. Hood and it being the first place I skied, as well as flew in a helicopter, to Mt. Bachelor, my home mountain since 1994. I have snowboarded and shot on so much of what you see here that looking at this photo truly brings gratitude.
