MT BACHELOR STARS

Pete Alport Photography

MTBACHELORSTARS18X12P

I tried my hand at star photos around a decade ago and instantly fell in love. There isn't too much technicality for a single shot, parameters are around this: 15 second exposure, 2.8 aperture, 1200 ISO, 4200k. Depending on the camera model, these numbers can fluctuate. You can also "stack" images to produce the stars vibrancy, control the foreground, etc. For me, I tend to stick with one shot, as seen here. Although I don't shoot star photos as much as I used to, I enjoy the experience of the night sky, quiet surroundings, and solitude, plus the final product looks pretty cool to me.
