MONOLITH SHADOW

I grew up going to this beach and still visit there a few times a year; my grandma had two beach houses a couple miles south.  I remember climbing the dunes with my friends and running back down, out of control, with not a care in the world. I learned how to surf here. My kids have run free on the beach.  This area has grown quite a bit since those early years of childhood, but I still love it...this image conveys why.
