FULLMOON SET WILDLAND FIREFIGHTER

I shot this photo Wednesday night, July 29th, 2026, the day Oregon broke the all-time record for most acres burned due to wildfire: over 2-million acres had burned so far. I have a few opinions on the fires, but nothing concrete. There is no guaranteed solution to prevent them and a whole heck of a lot of blaming. I read and hear possible solutions, however, where someone says “this works,” that burns too. In the end, I hope people from all sides can work together to create a formula that slows the wildfires and manages OUR forests for the collective good of the environment as well as society.

Here you see Isabel, both a wildland firefighter and wildland fire EMT. Without people like her, who knows how much would burn and how many people would be negatively affected more than many already are. Cheers Isabel, I appreciate our time working together for this shot.
