FRESH WATER FALL

I shot this image October 9th, 2022. The red Maples are the first to turn in this area, while the other colors get underway...they are so delicate and vibrant! The Maples will have lost all their leaves in just a few short days and capturing their color on a windless evening is both part luck and part timing. I think the yellow accents along the river bank help define the etherial black and emerald blue fresh water, not to mention the towering forest. I love everything about this photo!

One of my favorite shots ever for the Fall season in Oregon. I can’t wait to have this printed!
